I feel lucky growing up my parents always instilled in me morals, and reminded me that no matter how dark the day became, light and good always triumphed in the end. I try to hold a positive outlook on the future, but I can’t help to worry about what that future brings. Based on topics covered in this course, I know society faces uncertain economic times ahead, political turmoil and division as we see today, and our biggest threat climate change has already loomed upon us. These are topics that affect my career as a Nurse, family life and the entire world; only working together can we overcome all forthcoming challenges. I decided to become a Nurse for several reasons; I always held a deep love for the medical field since nursing provides me the patient-to-medical professional experience I’ve always desired. Nursing is a stable profession, in terms of employment and salary, or at least I thought so until I read the following, â€Å"Two hundred years ago, 70 percent of American workers lived on the farm.
